This is WilldFlower Honey was harvested with care by our club members from our Alva, Florida Apiary. It was uncapped (using handheld uncapping knife), hand-crank extracted on site (or at our meeting location) where it was collected in 5-gallon pails directly from extractor's discharge valve at ambient (honey-house room temperature).
No pumping or motors... just letting gravity do the work. Buckets of honey were subsequently gravity-strained (not filtered) at room temperature using a coarse (600-micron) polyester strainer to allow pollen (small particles of propolis & wax) to pass and be included in the honey. Honey containers were slowly filled (and safety-sealed) at room temperature (no heating to make it flow faster).. |
No additives... just pure, natural, raw (unheated), coarse strained (unfiltered) honey which is Local to Lee County... specifically Alva area. It is a beautiful medium/light color and sweet Thanks in advance for your purchase and support of our beekeeping association.
