Bee Removal Types
Swarm RemovalsSwarms are bees that are in the process of looking for a home and have not yet become a nest by building combs. Swarms often move on once they find a permanent place or they begin building where they are. Swarms are far more gentle and easier to remove than a nest.

Nest RemovalsNests are colonies of bees that have established a nest by drawing out wax combs for the queen to lay eggs. Nests are no longer temporary swarms, but have decided to build and stay. Nests contain bees which defend their home and are more difficult to remove than swarms.

Structural Cut-OutsWhen bees make nests inside structures which require removal of building materials to facilitate the removal, then the nest must be cut-out of the structure in order to be saved and relocated. These cut-outs require a higher level of expertise to accomplish without harming bees and to assure success.
